In no way do I personally agree with him saying "Sit down little bitch, be humble." Nor do I know any strong self LOVING black woman who would receive those words too kindly without backlash. Yet words that are rapped or sang seem to be more easily accepted than words that are spoken.
This venus retrograde has brought up a lot of things for me with both parents. Since venus rules over beauty and luxury, my relationship with my mom has been striking a chord. It also governs money, so my relationship with my father has circled back around for another dose of healing.
When you reach a certain level of creativity in this world, you will be asked for your soul. If you aspire to be famous or materially wealthy then such a proposition will either be a gateway or obstacle along your path. Even if you naturally shine bright, you will still be approached. The most beautiful thing we have been given, as individual expressions of the creator, is our soul. The most powerful tool we've been blessed with is the gift of free will.
As we are well aware of propaganda and the affects its had on humanity thus far, I feel that many people still fall victim to the psychological and emotional manipulation it systematically perpetuates. Therefore I shall do my best to enlighten those who wish to see the light that shines through me.
November will be an amazing month for femininity, female empowerment and justice for mother earth. As our bodies come from mother earth, I'm called to share a little known fact about your astrological sign.
The sign that you know yourself to be is your sun sign. This is the part of you that you allow the light to shine one. However, how you manifested in this world is your earth sign. This is your physical body. It is the exact polar opposite of your sun sign.

It is with my deepest GRATITUDE that I share these words. The healing experiences that I have held at Minka Brooklyn have often transcended time and space itself. They began as Community Healing Meditations. I remember the first 6 weeks when no one showed up. I would come prepared to hold space, setting everything up as if people were coming, and no humans would show up. However, my ancestors would come and sit with me every time. I would ask them "What am I doing wrong?" They would say nothing. I would ask "What do I need to do?" To which they would reply "You came to meditate, so meditate." So I would. I took one week off on the first Wednesday of June and wondered if returning was worth it. As always, I went into deep prayer and meditation to seek out guidance. I was told to go back with fresh eyes. For the first time, three people showed up. Then the next week more. Each time after that there were always people to heal and share space with.
I'm so grateful, that my existence overflows with GRATITUDE. The younger me would say that my words are not enough to express my GRATITUDE, but the present me knows better. I am enough.

Along your meditative practice you may be guided to expand beyond your physical body. If you are welcoming spirit guides that serve the highest good then it will happen safely. Before meditation, say a prayer setting your intention to serve and be guided by the highest good through out your journey. Know that your words and acknowledgments have power.

Beloveds in these times of mother earth's transition, our vibrations have naturally begun to raise in tandem with her's. We are moving out of darkness and into the light-- each of us becoming light beings with less denser vibrations. Mother earth is made of star dust. Our bodies are of the earth and our eternal souls are one with the divine source of all creation. It is in this capacity that we are all one. By choosing to flow with the divine nature of life, we are choosing to co-create with all that is, across space and time.
